Privacy Policy.

ToolForge is designed around local-first, privacy-conscious developer workflows.

Client-side and local processing.

ToolForge tools are built to process data in your browser whenever possible. The JSON Formatter formats, validates, minifies, uploads, downloads, and stores drafts locally in your browser without sending your JSON to a ToolForge server.

Data collection practices.

ToolForge does not require an account and does not ask for personal information to use the current tools. Some preferences and drafts may be saved in your browser using localStorage so the tool can restore your local state.

Analytics.

ToolForge includes a lightweight analytics hook that is inactive unless a production analytics endpoint is configured. When enabled, analytics should be limited to basic page-view events and should respect Do Not Track where supported.

Cookies and local storage.

The current application relies on browser localStorage for theme preference, editor settings, local drafts, and recent JSON history. ToolForge does not need advertising cookies to provide the current tool experience.

Third-party services.

ToolForge may use hosting, security, analytics, or monitoring services to deliver and improve the website. ToolForge should not send tool input content to third-party services unless a future feature clearly explains that transfer and requires user action.

User rights.

Because current tool data is stored locally, you can clear local drafts, history, and preferences through your browser’s site data controls. For privacy enquiries, contact slayeditz045@gmail.com.
